COMMAND AND CONTROL CABLE
Command and Control Cable
The command and control cable is recommended for fixed installations in control circuits, command and signaling of electrical equipment, structured cabling, machine connections, button panels, power supply, microprocessed systems, in automation of substations, generating plants, industrial and chemical areas.
They are applied to mobile and fixed conduit systems (embedded or exposed), channels, duct banks, cable trays, beds, electrical panels, among other applications. This cable has good flexibility, resistance to UV, weather and humidity and certain chemicals.
The command and control cable can be manufactured with several construction options:
– Stranded conductor formed by bare electrolytic copper wires, soft temper, class 5 NBR NM 280 stranding.
– Insulation in thermoplastic compound based on polyvinyl chloride (PVC/A) 70ºC, with the option of being manufactured in:
PVC/E -105ºC
XLPE – 125 ºC
HEPR – 90 ºC
PE – 80 ºC
The identification of the command and control cable can be in black or white veins numbered sequentially, it can be manufactured at the customer's request with a green track (protective conductor). It can also be constructed with colored veins.
Separator in polyester tape and Cover in thermoplastic compound based on polyvinyl chloride (PVC/ST1), however we can manufacture for other applications and needs such as:
PE
PVC/E
PVC/ST2
Special PVC resistant to oils, greases and other chemicals.
LSZH (non-halogenated polyolefin compound).
When used in hazardous areas, we can make the command and control cable with a perfectly cylindrical cover.
To apply the command and control cable in places where there is interference, it can be manufactured with shields:
Aluminized Electrostatic Tape
Copper Tape
Steel Tape
NU Copper Braid
SN Copper Braid
Steel Braid
The command and control cable meets the specifications:
ABNT/MERCOSUL: NM-280 and NM-IEC
NBR NM IEC 60332-3-23 (Category B)
ABNT: NBR 7290 (when manufactured with insulation/final cover in XLPE or HEPR/PVC - codes change)
ABNT: NBR 13248 (when manufactured with HEPR/LSZH insulation/final cover - codes change).
ABNT: NBR 7289 (when manufactured with PVC/PVC insulation/final cover – codes indicated in the table below)
ABNT: NBR 6251
