Shielded command cables are also known as control cables and their main function is signaling and controlling electrical equipment, machine connections, power supply, button panels, microprocessed systems, structured cabling, automation of substations, industrial areas, generating plants, and other applications. .
Shielded control cables can be shielded as protection against electromagnetic interference in aluminized polyester tape + drain, bare or tinned copper mesh or copper tape.
The voltage class of the control cables ranges from 500 Volts to 1000 volts, the determining factor for this difference being the conductor gauge of the shielded control cables.
Shielded control cables can be made with different thermoplastic or thermosetting materials, each for a specific purpose.
