ELEVATOR CABLES

Elevator cables

Elevator cables are highly flexible control and power cables for lifting systems with or without a textile support element, with medium mechanical resistance. The special extrusion technology, the twist applied, as well as the material used, allow for a longer lifespan and durability in continuous movement. Self-extinguishing and flame retardant. Resistant to oils, greases, lubricants, refrigerants, gasoline and alcohol. Silicone-free during production. Free from halogen and toxic gases.

Elevator cables are mobile cables with a traction element to prevent breakage.

For the traction element in elevator cables, aramid fiber or even steel cable is used.

For better flexibility, elastomeric compound (TPV) is used in the insulation and cover.

CONSTRUCTION

Conductor: Bare copper

Insulation: Rubber

Cover: Rubber

Elevator cables are important as they are designed for mobile use. This means that they are suitable for continuous movements without suffering damage.

Applicable Specifications

DIN VDE 0295 CLASS 6
IEC 60228 CLASS6
VDE 0293
RAL 9005
DIN VDE 0282
IEC 60332-2

To avoid electrostatic interference, a tinned copper mesh can be applied to some elevator cables.

Cable veins for elevators can be black or white numbered with or without green earth (G)

It can be built according to the customer's needs.

Elevator cables are part of the line of cables for mobile use that are designed for equipment that is in constant movement such as cable chains, gantries, forklifts, overhead cranes, robots, conveyors and others. These cables can transmit both signals and energy, having different types of cables with the most varied needs, and can also be used in high and low temperature equipment. It is advisable to consult one of our specialists to offer you the best product in relation to cost/benefit that will suit you, guaranteeing the best performance (durability) at the lowest cost.

Various special compounds are used that vary in thickness and insulation. They have special additives to withstand the amount of constant and regular movements without suffering from abrasions or breakages.

There are also some compounds that are resistant to grease, solvents, oils, UV, weather, lubricants, refrigerants, gasoline and alcohol.
