Minimum Bend Radius Calculation.
To obtain the minimum bending radius without damaging the cable, multiply the cable diameter (D) by the value indicated in the catalogue to obtain the possible radius (r).
Description found in catalogues (Example): Min. bending radius: 10 x d.
Calculation of voltage drop.
1-) Single-phase system
The percentage voltage drop will be given by:
2-) Three-phase system
The percentage voltage drop will be given by:
Where:
V = voltage between phases (V)
L = cable length (km)
R = cable AC resistance(W/km)
X = cable inductive reactance (W/km)
cosj = power factor of the load
