INSTRUMENTATION CABLE
The instrumentation cable has numerous applications for transmitting data signals, complying with some protocols, such as the HART protocol, generally used in fixed installations. The instrumentation cable can be manufactured with different sections, materials and diameters, in the form of pairs/twins or squares .
In its construction process, the instrumentation cable can have various forms of shielding, from individual with a drain on each pair or ternary or only collective in the assembly, such as tinned or bare copper mesh shielding.
Upon customer request, a communication cable made up of a stranded conductor with a section of 0.50mm² in blue or orange is added to the instrumentation cable.
Highly recommended for cases where excellent levels of protection against external electromagnetic interference are required, the instrumentation cable has maximum immunity against crosstalk between its peers.
Containing a steel tape or mesh application in its process, the instrumentation cable shows excellent resistance to impacts and other mechanical specifications.
The instrumentation cable is based on the following specifications.
ABNT/MERCOSUL: NM-280 and NM-IEC 60228
NBR NM IEC 60332-3-23, category B.
ABNT: NBR 10300 (pairs and pairs)
NBR 6812 – NBR 6251
The instrumentation cable can be manufactured with different types of construction:
